Seamless Integration of AWS in Marketplaces

In my previous blogs, I’ve discussed the importance of establishing your own Domain SSL certificate for a trusted marketplace. Briefly speaking, for safer transactions between a server and browser, SSL certificate provides a certain integrity in the trading community.

Near Me has established the one stop solution for having a seamless, hassle free setup of an SSL certificate along with authenticating the domain and creation of your Elastic Load Balancer, all under the marketplace admin.

With having integrated the “Request for AWS certificate”, a user could setup an SSL certificate in minutes, or even upload their own certs to the secure AWS vault. Let me take you through these quick steps:

As soon as the Marketplace owner logs into their instance_admin, the next following steps would be Settings > Ssl certificates.

The user would then add the domain name and click on “Request certificate”

After the user requests for a certificate, it crawls to the next page where the user has to refresh the web screen

AWS sends an email request to the admin of the website, attached with an email, there is a hyperlink to be clicked on where the user is directly taken to the AWS website, where the domain name, AWS account number, region and certificate identifier are now established.

The user reviews and then authorizes amazon to request for the given domain name.

Once the user approves the given clauses, the domain name is successfully set up.

The User then logs onto the instance_admin and again hits on Settings > Ssl certificates, where the updated changes are visible.

When the User clicks on “Back”, the page is redirected to the status of the ssl certificate which is being issued from AWS.

Once the SSL certificate is issued, the user needs to establish a domain, enable HTTPS ( HTTP over SSL- A secure communication over a computer network)

The domain name along with enabling HTTPS is chosen and then the user clicks on “Save”. Henceforth, the DNS name is established and the Elastic load balancer is secured.

Easy, isn’t it!
